Pre-launch — sales open soon

ForgeCalc is coming. The free version is already here. Quotes, invoices and real cost for 3D printing, resin and laser.

ForgeCalc reads your slicer's file, works out the real cost of the part — material, machine, failed prints, labour — and produces the quote, then the invoice with its mandatory details. 100% local, no subscription, written by a printer.

Windows 10 / 11 · no card, no account · 3 quotes a month, no time limit · the same software as the paid version

Launch price

The first 100 licenses, then the public price.

Pro1 workstation, lifetime license €49€69
Studioup to 3 workstations, lifetime license €119€149

Updates included. Whoever buys during the launch keeps everything, and the price is never claimed back. Subscribers hear about it first.

Keep me posted

One message on opening day.
Nothing else.

Leave your address and you will get the sales announcement before anyone else, with the launch price. No drip of reminders, no address sold on. One click to unsubscribe.

  • Told before the first 100 licenses, not after.
  • One email address, nothing else to fill in.
  • The sender is me — the author of the software — and I answer replies.
Why now

Three reasons to download
before sales open.

01

It is the real software

The free version is not a demo: it is ForgeCalc, limited to 3 quotes a month, with a “trial version” note on the PDFs. No card, no account, no deadline.

02

Your first quote in ten minutes

Drop in the file from your slicer — Bambu Studio, Orca, PrusaSlicer, Cura, resin — and the quote fills itself in: time, material, real cost, margin.

Whatever the file does not say stays empty and flagged. Nothing is guessed for you.

03

Your feedback still counts

Before sales open, what you tell me goes into the version that is sold. A label in the wrong place, a figure that surprises you, a machine missing from the list: write to me.

I read and answer myself — contact@forgecalc.app.

When you install it, Windows will show a blue “Windows protected your PC” screen. That is normal, and it is not a virus: ForgeCalc is published by a craftsman, not by a large company, and Windows does not know it yet. Click “More info”, then “Run anyway”. It will not appear again.
Launch price

Why €49 and not €69?

The first 100 customers buy a piece of software that has no public reviews yet, and that is a bet on me. The launch price is my way of acknowledging it: Pro at €49 instead of €69, Studio at €119 instead of €149. After that, the public price.

Either way it is a one-time payment, a lifetime license, updates included. A competing subscription costs $10 to $25 a month; after one year it has already passed the price of ForgeCalc.

Who is behind it

Born in my brother's workshop.

I have been a printer for over 15 years: pricing a job is my trade. One day I drop in on my brother. He has just printed four light-up signs for a colleague, and he invoiced them by guesswork — a derisory price that covered neither his material nor his hours. ForgeCalc was born there. Today he does all his invoicing with ForgeCalc.

The software is written and sold by one person, in France, with no investor and no subscription to keep running. Every version goes through 88 automated checks before it ships.
